We all want to have steady incomes, but why do we work ourselves to death daily? I will never understand why we work until our lives come crashing down. I quit my 9-5 job to sell Mary Kay and I don’t regret it. Yes, I have had my ups and downs, but I can work when I want, where I want, and how I want. I am my own boss. With Mary Kay, I am able to express my creative side as well. Some people love 9-5 jobs, but I resented the people who made their own schedules and had free time. I had to force myself to get up and work every day. I truly respect the people who love their jobs like that though, but it is not my cup of tea.
I now get to take interest in the hobbies that I put away for so long so that I could have a job. I now make crafts, paint, wood burn, sew, write, read books, and train my dog. I love being able to have the ability to do whatever I want, whenever I want.
NO, it was not easy at first. YES, I had to work for it, but when I finally realized that I could do it, I did. I do take time off sometimes. I don’t work all the time. I sell when I NEED to.
I use Mary Kay to my benefit too. I love working with inspiring women who love what they do and put God before everything.
God first, Family second, Career third.
